Claude Enterprise adds a Security Center to grade your settings

A new beta dashboard checks an organisation's chat, Cowork and Claude Code settings against Anthropic's own recommended configuration, alongside a multi-org admin console and self-serve IP allowlists.

Anthropic published a round of security and admin controls for Claude Enterprise on 5 November. The headline addition is a Security Center, in beta, that compares an organisation’s chat, Cowork and Claude Code settings against Anthropic’s own recommended configuration in one dashboard, with an attestations feature for review and downloadable reports for auditors, reachable from Organization settings or the Compliance API.

Alongside it, a new admin console at admin.claude.com lets a parent organisation manage SSO, SCIM directory sync, domain verification and groups across multiple Claude Enterprise and Platform organisations at once, with support for more than one identity provider. Admins can also now set up and change IP allowlists themselves, instead of asking Anthropic to do it, and can block personal Claude accounts in Claude Desktop on managed machines.

Why it matters: if you administer Claude Enterprise, configuration drift across chat, Cowork and Claude Code has so far meant checking each surface by hand. A single dashboard that flags drift and produces an exportable report cuts that down to one place to look, and self-serve IP allowlists remove a support-ticket round trip for a change admins previously couldn’t make themselves.

The caveat: the Security Center, the admin console and self-serve IP allowlists are all in beta, and Anthropic is explicit that the Security Center offers guidance rather than compliance certification.
