Cloudflare's MCP server now serves its own skills to agents
Cloudflare's Wrangler, Workers and Agents SDK guidance is discoverable over MCP's new Skills extension, synced every six hours instead of daily.
Cloudflare’s API MCP server now serves its own long-form agent guidance, the cloudflare/skills repository covering Wrangler, Durable Objects, the Agents SDK and Workers best practices, through the Skills over MCP extension. That extension (io.modelcontextprotocol/skills, SEP-2640) lets a client call skills/list to discover what is on offer, then read individual files with a skill://<name>/<path> URI.
The server lives at https://mcp.cloudflare.com/mcp, and the sync that keeps its served skills current now runs every six hours rather than daily, writing only the files that changed.

Why it matters: this is guidance that used to sit in docs pages or get pasted wholesale into a system prompt. Any MCP client that supports the Skills extension can now pull Cloudflare’s current best-practice text on demand, and it stays fresh without you doing anything.
The caveat: the benefit only reaches clients that already implement the Skills over MCP extension, which is new and not yet universal.
