Vercel CLI adds a command to discover 1,000+ Connect services
The new vercel connect discover command searches the Connect catalogue by name, category and connection method, with JSON output built for scripts and agents.
Vercel said on 26 October that its CLI can now browse and search the 1,000-plus services listed in Vercel Connect, its catalogue of third-party integrations, without opening a browser. The new command ships in CLI 64.1.0 and later.
vercel connect discover slack
vercel connect categories
vercel connect create slack
discover matches on name, alias, keyword and description. Results can be narrowed by category, by connection method such as mcp or oauth, by the product a service exposes, or to only services that forward webhook triggers. Both discover and categories take a --format=json flag.
Why it matters: finding and wiring up a database, auth provider or queue through Connect used to mean a trip to the dashboard. Doing it from the terminal is a small convenience for a person, but the JSON output is the real point: an agent provisioning its own resources can now query the catalogue, filter it and create a connector in one pass, with no scraping or hardcoded list of providers required.
