Knows when you join a call
Zoom, Teams, Slack, FaceTime, and Google Meet or Teams in the browser. Scribe asks before it records. A YouTube video is not a meeting.

Transcribes on your Mac
Whisper runs locally. Your side and everyone else’s are recorded separately, so the transcript knows who said what. The language is detected automatically, Urdu and Hindi included.

Writes the notes
A summary, decisions, action items and open questions. Action items link back to the moment they were said.

Keeps a library
Search every transcript, play back any line, and see open action items across all your meetings. Export to Markdown or an Obsidian vault.
Your meetings stay on your Mac.
Audio, transcripts and notes are stored on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.
Notes are written by a model running on your machine, through Ollama if you have it or a built-in engine if you don’t.
Scribe goes online only to download the speech engine and models. The code is on GitHub if you want to check.
- 01 Download Scribe and move it to Applications.
- 02 Open it. The setup window installs the speech engine and downloads the models.
